Spectacular bird

Today at the U.S. Open, Tiger Woods needed a birdie on the 18th hole to force a playoff tomorrow with Rocco Mediate. So, what happened? Well, what do you think happened? This is Tiger Woods we're talking about. Of course he made it. Here's the video:

Sweet.

UPDATE: Tiger did it again, and won.

Just an unbelievable shot by Tiger but if he loses this playoff he will kill himself for so many dumb shots when he had a 2 shot lead.

To follow Westwood into the ruff like that was just boneheaded, not so mentally tough on that one!

Yeah, that Tiger plays pretty damn good for someone who was supposedly gimpy and vulnerable. Just another example of sports commentators not knowing what they are talking about.

Can you imagine being Rocco today? Talk about intimidation. It wouldn't surprise me at all if Rocco is way out of it by the final hole.

USOpen.com has the live video for those who want to watch at work, at your own risk, of course.

It looks like Rocco Mediate might pull it off. A 45-year-old dude who has never won a major and has only a handful of wins in so-so tournaments to his name. Can you imagine being this guy and beating the greatest player who ever played the game????

golf is even less action/minute than baseball, but dang that was a pretty exciting playoff.

I hate Tiger.

Max,

How can you hate Tiger? That's just a stupid thing to say.

That playoff was pretty incredible to watch, and I can't stand golf, let alone on TV.
