I was going to say, isn't Ricky a little late on this endorsement, but it's all starting to come together now.

Clinton's new campaign song: Livin' La Vida Loca.
God help us all.

Hrmmm . . . Ricky Martin wrote Livin' La Vida Loca in 1999, towards the end of the Clinton Presidency . . . now, Coldplay wrote Viva La Vida in 2008 . . . the end of the Clinton candidacy?
Makes perfect sense to me! Although I don't ever want to hear Ricky Martin again. I've always hated his song.

Yo, I'm not a big Ricky Martin fan, but Livin' La Vida Loca is a damned good song.

CORNHUSKERS, Maybe he means the version from Shrek 2 sung by Antonio "Puss in Boots" Banderas and Eddie "Donkey" Murphy. Its a pretty catchy tune with those two singing it!

Darnit ! Just when David has been at his most Davidian, he has to turn around and show a redeeming quality ...

I actually had another, more punk, cover in mind, but no, I'm not talking about the original, just the tune itself.
Although I have been known to sing it at karaoke. The list of English-language songs available at KTV in China is limited. Given a choice between Happy Birthday to You (extended dance mix), Twinkle Twinkle Little Star, Old MacDonald, and La Vida Loca, what would you pick? (Note that "not getting drunk and doing karaoke" is not a valid choice).
