Ladies and gentlemen, start your engines!
The Indy 500 is underway. Danica Patrick is in 13th place right now. For Danica's sake, here's hoping Hillary Clinton didn't place any bets on her. :)
UPDATE: Title changed (from "Gentlemen and lady, start your engines") after Lisa pointed out that there were three women in the race: Patrick, Milka Duno, and Sarah Fisher. All three crashed and did not finish, and Patrick was distinctly unhappy about it. Scott Dixon won the race.

And considering how Danica's doing, she better thank her lucky stars for how nice she looks in a thong bikini.

That would be "Ladies" Brendan. There's three women in the race. ;)

Danica Patrick complains as much as Tony Stewart. The only difference being Tony Stewart has won more than one race.

This is yet another reason why I'm continuing my campaign. You never know when Barack Obama might enter a car race, and crash into the wall.

I actually saw the clip of Patrick's car getting nailed in pit row. This time she should have been pissed.

So here's a question for you:
What is the proper etiquette for responding to an attack from Danica Patrick?
I'm just sayin', had she made it across to the opposing pit, do you just treat her like another driver, i.e. knock her the *bleep* out?
Now, if you had the urge to say something like "misogynist" or "woman hater" in response to that, then I call BS. After all, if _any_ other driver came stomping over with menace in their heart and malice on their mind, threw a punch, and then got cold-coked in return we'd merely watch the YouTube, yes? So why should it be different because, as Texasyank pointed out, the assaulting driver in this case looks good in a bikini?
Just a thought that I hope people are thinking about. Personally I hope the IRL either suspends her for a bit or is just as lenient when a less photogenic driver decides to go "talk things over" and a melee ensues.

Youngblai-
The thing with Danica Patrick and IRL is that they realize she is the only thing getting people to watch open wheel racing these days. That is why they are so hot on promoting her and cutting her slack. It isn't any different than when tennis helps promote a hot blond Russian, even though she can't play. These sports are having a hard time competing with NASCAR, NFL, NBA, etc. and will do anything, including looking the other way, if someone helps draw viewers and ad revenues.

Mad Max,
Yeah, that's what I was afraid of--that IRL figures they can't shoot the golden goose no matter how many eyes it pecks out. However, that only plays until people stop watching out of disgust--and I think that will happen the first time she goes ballistic on someone and nothing happens to her.
Then again, if she proceeds to break out some Dani-fu on a fellow driver that just might push ratings up too. ;)

"However, that only plays until people stop watching out of disgust"
Or until Mario Andretti takes her to the side and kicks her ass.

If Patrick keeps it up, people will start calling her Danica Pout-rick.
