About me

I'm Brendan Loy, a 26-year-old graduate of USC and Notre Dame now living and working in Knoxville, Tennessee. My wife Becky and I are brand-new parents of a beautiful baby girl, born on New Year's Eve.

I'm a big-time sports fan, a politics, media & law junkie, an astronomy buff, a weather nerd, an Apple aficionado, a Lord of the Rings and Harry Potter fanatic, and an all-around dork. My blog is best-known for its coverage of Hurricane Katrina, but I blog about anything and everything that interests me.

Lady Vols win; UConn losing

Tennessee is going to the Final Four despite an injury to Candace Parker. Will UConn join them, putting the Huskies and Lady Vols one win each away from an epic Geno vs. Pat showdown in the national championship game? So far, Rutgers isn't cooperating with that plan.

After the jump, a look at where things stand in my pool.

In the wake of Tennessee's win, here are the current scenarios:

• Jeff Freeze wins if Tennessee beats Stanford in the title game
• Kristy McCray wins if Rutgers beats UConn tonight and Stanford wins the championship
• Rachel Wetherill wins if LSU wins the championship, or if UConn beats Rutgers tonight and LSU loses to Stanford in the title game
• Ian Auzenne wins if Rutgers wins the championship or loses to Tennessee in the title game
• Jeff Vaca wins if UConn beats Rutgers tonight, and Stanford beats Tennessee in the title game
• Gerry deSimas wins if UConn beats LSU in the title game
• Joseph Hiegel wins if Tennessee beats UConn in the title game
• Kevin Pilz, Kevin Hauschulz and Josh Krause win (co-champions) if UConn beats Tennessee in the title game

And here are the current standings:

So close... so close... If Atunrase has her normal game, the Ags win. Heck, even with the cold shooting, if Hornbuckle doesn't hit that ridiculous 3, the Ags might have taken the Vols.

Of course, if Parker doesn't dislocate her shoulder we probably don't come that close... it looked like she was just getting warmed up when the injury happened.

Hello

I have a flame. We employment collectively in a billowing corporation. She's serious, cute and on a small scale shy.
So once she fell in love with this mock from the department next door. He was an pc hotshot. And just imagine, he turned out to be so shy that even if she approached him with some business or just for jocularity , he would not ask her out because of his reticence. Idea it was evident that he liked her
a lot too.
We realized that if my flame did not appeal to him somewhere, their associations would not last long 'cause anyway it is the man who is supposed to take the advantage.
Two months of suffering and she lastly clear to act. We got our method of temptation ready.
First of all, we had to gush him by fair means or foul, stir him up so to say. For that besides purpose we decided to buy Levitra on the Internet because there was nothing else we could think of. We go over with a fine-too for levitra on line and found what we wanted.
We got the package from the Internet store 2.6 weeks later. It was kinda offensive to buy it in the drugstore and here it was all undercover. Just amazing.
Now all hopes for my flame and pills. We turned two pills into pounce. Then brought some liquor and waited till the weekend.
Just at one time the weekend, almost at the very end of the workday, we stirred the crush into one of the glasses with the hooch or hootch and my flame called the guy to help her with the computer. Earthly sphere had already left and she was alone in the office.
Tail he came up to her, she gave him some liquor with Levitra as if to thank him for the help with the computer.
It was not long till the trick worked. As she told me in the aftermath, it had been delusory and at the same time so lively that she could not tell. The guy even proposed to her not long ago.
So our plan had worked just fine.
And did any of your friends or even you have curious history like this? Or maybe you found your dear half in some usual way as well?
