Campaign '08 continues its "Places Brendan Used To Live" World Tour
Speaking of the Indiana primary... the South Bend Scenario -- the latest salvo in the "vast right/left-wing conspiracy to piss me off" by making every single place I've ever lived, except the place I'm living now, a major hub of presidential campaign activity -- is proceeding according to plan: Bill and Chelsea Clinton are in South Bend today to celebrate Dyngus Day (video here), and the Obama campaign is opening a South Bend office, declaring that Obama will campaign "in every corner" of Indiana. (Hat tip: JT.)
So, there have now been campaign visits by major candidates and/or their top surrogates in Greater Hartford, Los Angeles, New York City, Phoenix, South Bend and Denver (my possible next home)... everywhere I've ever lived except Knoxville.
HARUMPH.

I missed the post celebrating the 4,000th American Soldier's death in Iraq.
Whooooooooo-hooooooooooooo!!!!
The Surge is working.

Since when is Hartford and CT the major hub of political activity? The only major political activity in CT is the fund raising parties in Greenwich. Although I did hear WTIC broadcast the Obama speech one day as I drove home from work. Changed my vote to the hopeful one. Denver? Job opening?

Right before Super Tuesday, Obama had a rally in Hartford, and Clinton had one in New Haven. And Chelsea came to Hartford as well.
As for Denver, I'm certified to practice law there, so it's presently Option A for post-clerkship employment. :)

So the Irish Catholics of South Bend celebrate a Polish Catholic holiday by launching the local political season. Makes sense to me...

Right, because every city has one and only one nationality.

Condor, have you ever heard of a joke? Seriously do they beat it out of you at the Rush Limbaugh Brain Washing Camp?

I didn't see Condor when I attended the RLBWC, I think he flunked out.

Karmic revenge for your Obama fanboy crush. To be fair, it has apparently been replaced by more measured support.

The public is rightly offended when a person's skin tone is darkened a la O.J. or Barack (allegedly) in a supposed effort to emphasize the subject's ethnicity. What ought the public to think when someone emphasizes their physical ethnic appearance for the purpose of increasing support for a candidate ?
I am referring to Bill Richardson, who, needless to say, looks so much "healthier" in anticipation of his endorsement of Obama. I mean, his skin is so tan and robust. The summer weather must have arrived early in New Mexico. Surely he didn't go to a tanning bed ? Why would he do that ? And that beard, it's so sexy - like Three Muskateers' Porthos meets Zorro. Well done, Bill. You're looking Caliente! Donde esta la cilatro. El Caballero doth pretend too much, methinks ?
