About me

I'm Brendan Loy, a 26-year-old graduate of USC and Notre Dame now living and working in Knoxville, Tennessee. My wife Becky and I are brand-new parents of a beautiful baby girl, born on New Year's Eve.

I'm a big-time sports fan, a politics, media & law junkie, an astronomy buff, a weather nerd, an Apple aficionado, a Lord of the Rings and Harry Potter fanatic, and an all-around dork. My blog is best-known for its coverage of Hurricane Katrina, but I blog about anything and everything that interests me.

Bloomberg cries "fraud" in Obama tally

What on earth is Michael Bloomberg on about?

Is he angling for a VP nod or something? Obama-Bloomberg '08? The wunderkind and the supernanny?

Seriously, though, WTF? Is this a joke that the Post took out of context? Or has Mayor Mike finally gone off the deep end? It's my understanding that both presidential campaigns, and all involved parties, agree that the Obama undercount was some sort of innocent error, so Bloomy seems to be going off the reservation here.

There are no innocent errors in NYC politics

Things are, at a minimum, fishy and should be investigated.

bloomberg would be an interesting choice for vp. an obama/bloomberg ticket would certainly have more raw brain power than any ticket i've ever seen. if the economy continue to tank, someone like bloomberg might be a better vp choice than a military democrat.

dcl, not to Re-ignite our little Controversy or anythinglikethatBut :> if you mean there's something minimally Fishy about Hizzoner that needs Looking into, I'd agree :} except I'd say that Something Somewhat Squirrelly perhaps better expresses the sheer Suspiciousness of the thing :>. However to the presumption that there's anything necessarily Piscine about the ubiquitous Hurryup Screwyups in manually-transcribed Unofficial First Returns I still say: Nuts. :]
