The Brits are always so bloody Proper and Polite. They would never Officially suggest that Matt Drudge bears a strong resemblance to the excrement of a bottom-dwelling slug. For one thing, that would be seen as an Insult to all bottom-dwelling slugs' Digestive systems.

While the statement above is indeed very polite, I wouldn't go as as to day that, "the Brits are aleays so bloody Proper and Polite"--have you lived with a Brit? :)

A "bloody Proper and Polite" Brit could not have said "this was a circumstance that we have always been aware of and for which ..." ...
A "bloody Proper and Polite" Brit would have said "this was a circumstance of which we have always been aware and for which ..." ...
Any other construction is one up with which one must not put ! {to counterfeit a phrase}
