About me

I'm Brendan Loy, a 26-year-old graduate of USC and Notre Dame now living and working in Knoxville, Tennessee. My wife Becky and I are brand-new parents of a beautiful baby girl, born on New Year's Eve.

I'm a big-time sports fan, a politics, media & law junkie, an astronomy buff, a weather nerd, an Apple aficionado, a Lord of the Rings and Harry Potter fanatic, and an all-around dork. My blog is best-known for its coverage of Hurricane Katrina, but I blog about anything and everything that interests me.

I am shocked. SHOCKED, I tell you.

Funny how some of these revolutionary communist republics end up looking like hereditary monarchies.

Then again, we're not looking so good if Clinton wins the presidency either....

At least the Clinton's and Bush's aren't electing more Clinton's and Bush's, though.

"At least the Clinton's and Bush's aren't electing more Clinton's and Bush's, though." Almost, if you consider how Bill is campaigning for Hillary, or how W happened to win in Florida, where his brother was governor.

What a relief...I was sweating it out re whether young Raul would Make it, there...I think the Superdelegates put him over the top...we Are the Change that we Seek, si si... :>
