It’s over. It’s all over. I saw McCain’s victory speech tonight. He appeared very gracious and reassuring. I think he came across as more genuine and trustworthy than Romney. Word has it that McCain’s “dear friend”, Rudy Giuliani, will endorse him. Perhaps they’ve brokered a deal for Rudy to be the vice presidential nominee. I don’t mean to digress, but I believe Condi Rice would make an intriguing running mate for McCain as well. McCain should be able to wrap things up on Super Tuesday.

Rudy has finally figured out what the rest of the country has known for a month.
Anyway, I hear that he never got too combative because he didn't want to hurt his speaking fees had he not won the nomination. It's kind of pathetic when you think about it.

I wanted Rudy but a McCain-Giuliani ticket isn't too bad either.

"Folks, Washington is broken, and we're not going to fix it by rearranging the chairs". I don't know if anyone caught those unscripted comments from Mitt Romney, pretty brilliant if you think about it. Maybe they'll replay that quote fir anyone who may have missed it.

Sandy-
I don't get how that comment qualifies as "brilliant." The guy is using the cliche about re-arranging the chairs on the Titanic. It's been used a million times.
Brilliant is a line like "the soft bigotry of low expectations." I don't like Bush, but that was one of the few decent lines he ever got out of his cud-filled mouth.
