I got about halfway through the article when I realized that my laughing out loud was pissing off the people around me... I guess they're not in the mood given that they're all writing term papers.

In retrospect, it's totally obvious that the reason the New York Times got the names mixed up is because every white person still left in New York City is actually gay, atheist/Jewish, and very liberal, so the writers at the Times thought it totally natural that your fiancee was Robbie and your dog was Becky.
