coverage of Hurricane Katrina, but I blog about anything and everything that interests me.

Another perfect Saturday with every Trojan's favorite triumvirate of coaches Pete C, CW and KD. I hope it never changes.

All of a sudden those Devil-Trojan ducats I procured months ago now glisten with possibility.
Will ASU face USC on Thanksgiving Day with the Rose Bowl on the line?
My answer, right now, is yes.

It could have been a miserable night to watch football in the steady drizzle and in that decrepit Cal stadium but the Trojans made it worth the while. It could have been worse: we were at the SC Stanford debacle a few weeks back and not only that, we had to sit next to the annoying childish Stanford Jr. Univ band! The Bear's fans are a lot more polite and even as we were in their midst they didn't mind the 279th playing of Fight On! The game difference was Nate Longshore's inexplicable interceptions; if you saw the whole field of play as we did, you wondered ... who the hell was he "Trying" to throw to? He should have been intercepted 3 more times, easily, but even the Trojan defenders were surprised.

And, interestingly, Trojans lose...

Yes, I covered that below. Fear the Atlantic Sun!

What was up with those Cal uniforms? Throwbacks? The color scheme was better than the current one, although I like the classic helmets and plain, non-Nike-fied version of the Cal uniform (think The Play uniforms).
