I'm Brendan Loy, a 26-year-old graduate of USC and Notre Dame now living and working in Knoxville, Tennessee. My wife Becky and I are brand-new parents of a
beautiful baby girl, born on New Year's Eve.
I'm a big-time sports fan, a politics, media & law junkie, an astronomy buff, a weather nerd, an Apple aficionado, a

I watched the end of the LSU/Kentucky game. That was simply awesome. Great game.
So, who IS number 1 this week, anyway? Not USC - they should drop after escaping narrowly against Arizona (to where Brendan thinks they should have dropped after losing the Stanford). Speaking of Stanford, the Farm is looking to beat TCU - they are up by 3 at the moment, and TCU has fallen far from the "preseason darling" position.
Anyway, number 1. Not USC, not LSU, not Oklahoma . . . its looking like Ohio State or Cal. How many unbeatens do we have left, anyway? Any chance we can knock off all of them, causing BCS CHAOS!?!?!?!?!

I'd put it Cal, USF, Ohio State, presuming Cal comes back against Oregon State. I'd also coat Brandon LaFell's hands with glue, so he could hold on to the damned ball.

Stanford blew it.
Cal is down 10 now with less than 6 min to go... and they're punting.
Ohio State might jump them even if they win.
Mizzou is losing. Cincy is losing.
remaining unbeatens if Cal falls
tOSU
USF
BC
Kansas
Hawaii
Arizona State (playing Washington later)

Actually, given Louisville's D, I shouldn't write off Cincy yet.
