I'd say at least 3-1, if not higher. Nothing I've seen indicates trouble. The close proximity of South America certainly hasn't caused any issues - or they where easily overcome.
And the stadium effect is quite noticable in the false-color IR images.

Based on the data the hurricane hunter is collecting, it appears that Felix is at category five strength now. Its presentation on infrared satellite is incredible.

Am I right in saying that it has deepened by 22mb within the space of 3 hours?
